Fade In To The Dark
Memories are hallucinations that the mind just recalls to set your present mood. People can be forgotten and left behind, can be thrown aside in this world. This feature was given to us by god to live our life to the fullest and not to be held down.
Millions of kids in this world go to school growing up, all meet and have friends. 10 years after they graduate how many of them think about the people from 6th grade year. We let go and don’t. Those kids fade into the dark. You grow up, get married, have a stable job and maybe have kids. This isn’t the lucky way for every one.
Jimmy Nickolas a 30 year old man living on the streets under a bridge and no one even know he is there. He has faded into the darkness like a shadow on a gloomy day. He was the popular jock in high school, everyone liked him and he had almost a solid 4.0 GPA.
There was a group of kids fighting in the hall way when he was walking by and he tried stopping them. A gun was pulled on him and he attacked the guy who pulled it. A ear blistering crack echoed the halls. Jimmy had control of the gun and the kid attacked him. This caused him to fire the gun unwillingly killing his best friend that was walking up to see what the commotion was.
Jimmy was expelled from school and was taken to court. Jimmy got off from the charges but was still kicked out of the school. His mom couldn’t handle the news about him killing someone so she kicked him out of her house. Jimmy was on the streets all alone.
Jimmy stayed on the streets for as long as anyone knew. He tried getting a job but people looked at the criminal side of him. He couldn’t get anything. Jimmy faded into the dark like the 6th grade memories.
Like is a miracle that the ultimate being gave us. You may say “well I do not believe in god”. That is your choice. God gave you the choice to believe in what ever you wanted. But life is seriously taken for granted on a daily basis. We eat and waste more food then we have to, we waste power and fuel. We are the richest country in the world and yet we are in debt. There are people out there that get to even have the chance to forget the memories we do. But this message will just fade, Fade into the dark. Just like Jimmy!!

Great to see you are still working on these stories. Did you find a High Point peer that agreed to help proof the grammar? This will help bring your stories to the next level.
Keep writing as I really enjoyed the message you presented in "Fade Into The Dark" piece.
